How the Golden State Warriors are ruining the NBA.
Stephen Curry. Klay Thompson. JaVale McGee. Kevin Durant. What do all these names have in common? They all are part of the most powerful team of the decade. They have taught us “ If you can’t beat them, join them,” and that's exactly what KD did. They are a team full of snakes and backstabbers. For example, Kevin Durant left his franchise all because he wanted a ring. The last few years the Warriors have been in the finals against the Cavaliers. The Cleveland Cavaliers. The team consisting of only one good player...LeBron James. Even Kyrie Irving left because he wasn't getting the time and respect he deserves. Out of thirty teams the Warriors have stayed on top since 2014. They had never lost a playoff game...until 2016, but that’s still very impressive.
Honestly they are starting to turn into the ‘59 Celtics. If they keep the ball rolling they could easily be the greatest team in the NBA ever. However, their greatness is ruining the sport of basketball. Nobody stands a chance!! They are villainous and they know it too. They have been called out so many times about kicking other players in the nether region and punching them. Draymond Green is the dirtiest player on the team though. He is hated by most of the NBA community and fans. You can’t even call them a super team anymore. Hyper team or Mega team or every championship we win will not be earned team...I prefer the last one. If someone came up to you and said that the warriors, the team with the highest defense and offense ruined the NBA, they would be 100% correct. Do you know how much of an achievement it is to ruin an entire organization?
It’s unbelievable. You cannot defend this team. The fact that they arguably have the best shooter on their team; no wonder they can score 50 points in a quarter. Honestly all we can do is wait. At the time of me writing this paper it’s a couple weeks away from all star weekend and right now some serious trades for top notch players are occurring. As a fan of basketball, however, I cannot let this slide. I mean Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player ever even said that the warriors are overrated. There is a difference between the 98’-99’ Bulls and the current Warriors lineup. The Bulls always were matched and challenged against really good teams. At this point the warriors are just going to continue winning games. But mark my words, one day the warriors will fall and when they do...the league will be saved.
