4/23 Reading Response

Citra has a hard time coming to terms with being a scythe. Throughout the entire book you mostly see her side of the story gong through a shift in emotion. Both her and Rowan in the beginning don't want to become a scythe but they eventually come to terms with it. Honestly I wouldn't have a shift in emotion like them because if I had the chance to protect my mother from getting randomly killed I wouldn't hesitate.
